Held the third Thursday of every month from 10-11:30am (Pacific), these sessions feature TXG members and other professionals who volunteer their time to answer questions, provide tips, and share first-hand experiences in data management. Come with a question, share a resource of your own, or simply listen in to what others have to say.
Featured EPA-led training session: Making the Most of the Water Quality Portal (Maps, Apps, and Dashboards)
The Water Quality Portal is the public data source for all data submitted to WQX and USGS NWIS sample data. It seamlessly integrates data across programs, projects, space, and time. Learn how you can make the most of the Water Quality Portal, easily retrieve the data you’re looking for, treating it like your own personal database in the cloud. In this demo, we’ll show how to effectively get data out of the WQP and build information applications to help you visualize and explore your data and the data around you.
EPA’s Adam Griggs will give a demo on making connections to the WQP from Excel, Google, R, and Arc Online. The demo will also include examples of how to build dashboards, apps, and more in Arc Online.
